Alnwick Station site is located near the town centre of Alnwick on the east side of the A1 road in mid Northumberland. There is no rail connection to the site. Entry inside the station is possible via 'Barter Books' shop (barterbooks.co.uk). A small collection of railway artifacts are viewable.

Alnmouth Station is on the East Coast main line serviced by Great North Eastern Railway, Virgin and Northern Rail trains. Car and Bus access is via the A1068 Scenic Coastal Road Route.
